All through out the junior high and high school, I was the nerdy kid and nobody wanted anything to do with me. I'm now in university, and the table has turned. Soon or later, people realize something about me and they want to be my "friends" so that they can leech off assignments from me. Never having more than three friends in high school, I gave them my assignments. It's better than nothing, I thought. And one of them tried to buy me a lunch, I politely declined and he bought me a pop drink. Another guy offered me that he will print out the lecture notes posted on the web. I, being penny-wise, thought it was great idea; I have neither a laser printer nor paper to print out 20 pages a day. And one girl was showing more skin when I come around, even if the temperature of the room didn't fluctuate. I think I sorta enjoy it, even though they are not my real friends.
So, my next question is, how do they spot people like me to take advantage of? Well, I'm always alone. I always sit alone at the back of the classroom. But that can't be all; there are other people who sit alone too. I think the person who asks the most questions and who answers most questions asked by professors is the prime target. In one of my class, I talk a lot, asking questions and answering questions. And in my other class, I'm virtually invisible. The difference is very noticeable.
