"Live each day as if it's your last day."
You probably heard this on before. I came across this saying again yesterday and it made me think. Have you ever thought about what you are losing if you do live each day like it’s your last day? You are losing the hope of tomorrow; the anticipation of something new that tomorrow brings. If you believe there won’t be tomorrow, then today becomes meaningless. We live to see what happens next, it’s a continuous journey. If the meaning of life can be hypothetically summed up as "finding your true happiness," then the anticipation that we might be happier tomorrow is what strives us to live today. If you don’t care what happens tomorrow, then why bother reading today’s chapter?

Mountain Top is a Lonely Place.
Ever since I was 13, I wanted to be the smartest kid in school. I was in the vicinity of the top of the class until I was 17. That's when I lost interest in studying and focused more on starting my own business. Which ended up as the biggest failure in my life. I regained my interest in school last year and finally the dream came true. I have the best score in two of my classes. This is by no means an easy task. There are about 200 students registered in each class, each individual having their own forte. When I saw my perfect final grade scores, I was expecting something to happen. Nothing did. It was as usual. And I couldn't share the joy with people I know from the school either. Even the one of my closest friend called me "a peacock" (jokingly) a year ago. And other once said, also jokingly, "Go stand in the corner. But it's not that we don't feel bitter or anything." I waited for this moment for so long, but when it happened, I feel alone. I know there are people like me out there; I read about them in newspapers, I see them on TV, but I don't know them. This is hardly the end of my achievement, there are still couple more hundred thousand mountains to climb.
